Introduction
Nice to meet you. We are Satake Katsuro Architectural Design Office. We believe that thinking and preparing for having a home, owning a shop, and creating an ideal living environment are enjoyable moments and one of life's pleasures. However, for many people, envisioning such an ideal is like chasing a cloud. It floats and changes shape, seemingly within reach but never quite tangible. It's an uncertain and ambiguous concept that's hard to fully express in words. People often don't even know where to start. Moreover, in today's world, there is an overwhelming abundance of choices and sources of information. The process of comparing and considering these options is time-consuming and can be mentally and physically exhausting. Amidst all this, people may lose sight of their initial "preferences" and "likes," and get swept in a different direction.We believe that the work of design is about skillfully shaping the ideals envisioned by our clients. Our role is to cherish the story that each client brings and to align it from a technical perspective without altering its flow. Just as no two people or landscapes are the same, architecture too should be unique to each client. With this in mind, we carry out our design activities every day.
